We owe much of Tampa Pride’s success to our volunteers! We plan fundraising and social events all year long and would love to have you on the team to provide much needed and much appreciated support. Volunteer opportunities include event hosts, registration coordinators, communications coordinators, parade captains and street festival hosts.

FESTIVAL 2023

Event Chair: Alex Barbosa

DETAILS:

The Festival is located in the Hillsborough Community College, Ybor Campus. The Festival includes:

 Arts & Crafts Show, Health & Wellness Fair, and  Entrepreneurs Area.

The Festival will kick off at 10:45am.

Vendors are located in two main areas: E 9th Ave & The HCC parking lot. 

Food Truck will be located between the Festival and the Stage area in the Cuban Club.

Setup Crew
Start Time: 8:30 am
End Time: 10:30 am

Volunteers will set up cardboard trash boxes and line them with plastic bags.

Vendor and Volunteer Check-In
Start Time: 9:00 am
End Time: 12:00 pm

Volunteers will check-in vendors and volunteers in five areas: main tent in the Cuban Club courtyard, food court, health fair, E 9th Ave, and the HCC parking lot

Cleanup Crew
Start Time: 4:00 pm
End Time: 5:00 pm

Note: This task takes place during the parade.
Volunteers will close up trash bags and place them into dumpster. Break down trash boxes and place in dumpster. General cleanup.
